The fear of failure often stops us from moving forward toward the pursuit of our dreams.
When God called Joshua to lead the Israelites into Canaan, He reassured him of His presence: “Do not be afraid; for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” (Joshua 1:9)When the angel Gabriel appeared to Mary about giving birth to Jesus, he told her: “Do not be afraid.” (Luke 1:30)
If God has called you to do something you feel inadequate to achieve, remember He will be with you, strengthen you, and guide you each step of the way.
“What is impossible with man is possible with God.” (Luke 18:27)
Following are some ways to keep fear from paralyzing the pursuit of your dreams:

Believe that God will provide the resources and people you need when you need them.
Ask God for the wisdom and strength to do what He has called you to do.
Quoting scripture will protect us from the fiery darts of Satan. He is the one filling you with thoughts of fear.
“By faith, Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going.” (Hebrews 11:8) God leads us step by step.
Don’t become discouraged if you work hard and follow God’s leading but don’t see tangible results. When we’re obeying God and working for Him, we may not see the fruits of our labor until we get to Heaven. Hearing His “Well Done” will be the ultimate reward.
I would love to hear how you have kept fear from paralyzing the pursuit of your dreams. Please share your thoughts in the section below.
